Court is in Session: The Brownfield Courthouse in Texas Calls Germinator
August 03, 2020

Commercial sanitizing is more important than ever these days. As the country re-opens, much of the public is expressing concerns about germs and bacteria. The past several months have shown us how devastating a pandemic can be. Businesses have closed down, people have become extremely ill, with many dying, and the economy has taken a hit. Children have been forced to attend school virtually and social distancing has become the order of the day. As we open the country up, a lot of businesses and services are taking proactive measures to create and maintain hygienic environments. A regular cleaning routine is always the first step in doing this, but cleaning alone doesn't kill germs and bacteria. Sanitizing and disinfecting is an important part of the process and is even more essential today. Moving forward, businesses will turn to
commercial sanitizing and disinfecting to help ensure their businesses are protected.
Recently, Germinator Lubbock was called upon to help the Brownfield Courthouse make its facility ready for employees and those who have to visit the courthouse. Germinator Lubbock sent a crew to the courthouse to sanitize and disinfect every part of it. We went from room to room, using electrostatic sprayers to apply our process to all of the major touchpoints. This includes walls, light switches, faucets, desks, and other furniture pieces, office equipment, and anywhere germs and bacteria thrive. Germinator Mobile Sanitizing and Disinfecting is the ideal way to help ensure any commercial facility is clean and hygienic.
What Makes Germinator Mobile Sanitizing & Disinfecting So Unique?
Germinator uses a patent-pending methodology and is the most unique and cost-effective means of providing enhanced antimicrobial protection for businesses and residences. We first test surfaces for ATP using a luminometer to detect light that can come from cellular activity. This measurement immediately determines the level of clean on a surface.
The next step is the application of our Genesis surface treatment. Genesis is a one-step cleaner and broad-spectrum sanitizer and disinfectant treatment that harnesses the power of hypochlorous acid (HOCl). Derived from naturally occurring minerals, Genesis not only eliminates odors at their source but kills a wide range of bacteria, including
Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA,
Salmonella enterica and
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and viruses including norovirus, rotavirus and adenovirus on hard, non-porous, environmental surfaces. It meets the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists (AOAC) germicidal spray standards for Hospital Grade Disinfection and is on the EPA's N List of products determined to meet the criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. As a result, this treatment will eliminate bacteria and viruses that may reside in your environment without the use of harsh chemicals or fumes.
Following Genesis, we apply our Shield, a water-based quaternary ammonium compound that imparts a durable bacteriostatic finish. It is EPA-registered as effective against mold, mildew, algae, and odor-causing bacteria. This application creates an invisible barrier that helps combat deterioration and discoloration and promotes freshness for up to three months.
The Genesis and Shield products are applied by using an electrostatic sprayer, which is the most efficient and effective means of delivering the products to the intended application sites. After we apply our surface treatment and protectant services, we retest ATP levels to ensure the surfaces have achieved the intended results.

Germinator only makes claims that are scientifically supported and within EPA regulations. We do this because we want to uphold the highest standards of sanitizing and disinfecting. In an effort to research and further validate our practice of sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces, Germinator recently created the Germinator Scientific Board. The board is made up of key leaders such as Dr. Roscoe M. Moore, Jr —who was an Assistant to the United States Surgeon General for five administrations.
Germinator Lubbock understands these are extremely difficult times we're living in. The public is more aware than ever of just how dangerous a pandemic can be. We've not even begun to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic fully, so we must exercise caution as we move forward. Consumers want confidence and peace of mind as they begin to venture out into the world, go back to work, shop, and resume the activities they're used to doing. Germinator Lubbock wants to be a part of helping the public move beyond the pandemic.
Germinator Mobile Sanitizing & Disinfecting is a convenient way to sanitize and disinfect schools and daycares, medical facilities, long-term care facilities, rental properties, public gymnasiums, and sports facilities, bars, and restaurants, and anywhere it is necessary to help reduce the threat of germs and bacteria. While Germinator isn't a replacement for thorough and regular cleaning, it is an added layer of protection that goes a long way toward a hygienic environment.
The country may be moving forward with a little uncertainty, but one thing we have all learned from the past several months is that we have to prioritize keeping a clean, sanitized, and disinfected environment.
